32 Ford Front Bumper Irons

I have a nice pair of 32 front bumper irons that appear to be OEM. They have the proper radiused edges and shape. They are 3/8th thick. Is that the correct thickness?

Yes.I also had a pair of original rears that were 5/16 " thick. Is there a large U or C stamped anywhere on them.

That would be the bumpers themselves, not the bumper brackets

I have some originals with that C stamped between the 2 frame mounting holes. Oddly enough, one C in on the inside, with the other C on the outside. Like they were stamped with the C when they were flat, and one was bent right and the other bent left.

And the fronts I have are 3/8" thick.

Lots of capital Cs and Xs all over without a repetitious pattern of location.
