53 Mercury used steering wheel

[dean333]

I’m looking for a used steering wheel for my 53 Monterey to be used while the original is off for restoration. I’ll buy if it’s reasonable or borrow. I don’t plan on driving the car just want the wheel in case I need to move it around. Thanks

TIM: I can't believe seller thinks this is worth $175.
I doubt if it will sell. Contact seller near end of auction and offer him $50.

Fifty bucks? You sure have the Christmas spirit.

This is what vice grips are for.

I offered $50, immediately declined.

Seller is going to own that for a very long time.

I would think any Ford product wheel from the 50's would work if you just need it to move the car when necessary.

I will check with my brother out in Oregon. I think we still have the one from our parts car. Tim
