Even though most of them are very high end hot rods, any one can appreciate their historic value. Go to the HAMB and look up Richard Munz Collection to sell at Mecum Kissimmee in 2025. Be sure to watch the video then scroll down thru the pictures. Even you hardcore restorers will surely like what you see. Start saving your pennies.

Got an email from Mecum earlier this week and checked out the collection plus road art and parts. Some nice vehicles for sure, met Dick years ago at a show and let him know that his friend Roger Gregg had rebuilt the flathead in my pickup. As part of a Mecum article Roger's name was mentioned a few times by Dick, I was very fortunate that he lived 10 miles from my home at the time and had been working on Flatheads since the early '50s.

I met Richard at Bonneville years ago. Was walking through the pits and saw a trailer with Wisconsin plates. Stopped in and had a nice talk with him. Visited his collection a number of times. Roger visited my shop once.

All of them? Does that mean I don't have a chance of buying the full sized Wanless roadster or the matching sculpture?

The Brothers Collection in Salem, Or will be buying those cars? Newc

They're going to have to bid through the auction to get these. I doubt Mecum will let the cars be pulled without a hefty penalty.

Early Fords also seem like they'd be an oddity for that collection since it appears to be predominately muscle/pony cars with some exotics thrown-in.

If the Brothers Collection had an interest, why didn't they make him an offer he couldn't refuse before he consigned them to the auction. With the Brothers money doesn't seem to be a problem.

Would love to have the maroon '40 coupe with the Cadillac motor. That is a real nice 40. My wife worked for Lorin Sorensen and did the typing for his books. That '40 originally came from a guy in San Rafael, Ca. I spent a lot of time around that '40 and it is as nice as it gets. You could remove the Cad motor and put a flathead right back in it.

Very courious. Wonder who bought the Green '34 Roadster with thr Kong heads? I built and owned the car for 17 years, and regreat selling it; of coarse.

If I were wealthy I'd be there with one goal, to bring the full size Wanless deuce roadster and matching sculpture back to Nebraska. There's a Nebraska venue that would put it on display as long as I would want. I can only dream.
