Exhaust manifold - 2 styles repo

Looking to replace my exhaust manifold. I noticed there are two styles available, a radiused angle version and one that exits straight down. Can anyone relay pros/cons of either style? Seems like the mating exhaust pipe is compatible with either version from my reading.

.
I think the 2 shown the pictures are the same only taken at a different angle as the late Manifold is not available new.

First pic is from Bert's. Maybe they have a wrong photo posted. Thanks for the info link, it does look like a model B.

I think that's just the angle of the camera.Sometimes pictures seem to have a wide panoramic view. The B manifold has MUCH more of an angle than that picture shows. My first thought was B,but on second look I realized that angle is just a little bit of a bend, not the 45 degrees or so that the B has.

mcgarrett has it right. The manifold on the left in the photo is for a Model B. The photo on the left is a GAZ engine that replicates the Model B. The engine on the right is a Model B.

It's the angle of the picture that makes it look off both pictures in the 1st post are A manifolds.

If you've ever seen a 4 cylinder B manifold set in person, you'd see they are drastically different than what is shown in the pictures in the 1st post.

Yep - The A manifold makes a 90 degree turn to exit in front of the rear mount where the pipe another 90 degree turn to the muffler. The B manifold makes a gentler sweep and exits to the rear of the mount. The smoother transition may have added to the horsepower increase of the B engine.

The photo in question was taken on an angle that is lower and viewing on an upward tilt from the vertical axis of the part. Both are model A manifolds. This makes for a bit of an optical illusion.
