The photo is not high resolution but the thing on the radiator appears to be a baseball player at bat. Or maybe St. Christopher. Anybody see anything different?

What is that on the radiator?

Radiator badge. Not an uncommon thing in the day, oil companies used to give them out. I have one (don’t recall which oil company, the logo is “Be kind to your engine” or something similar). Kinda like those orange balls for the radio antennas from the ‘60s, Union 76 if I remember correctly.

There is a mud guard at the front of the running board. That's a strange place for a mud guard. You have good eyes Bill!

Somebody must have a picture of Red Grow's A with all the doo-dads on it.Not sure if it was a Cabriolet or a Coupe though.

Hello, radiator badge looks to me to be a baseball player, picture must be from 1942 on , with the gas rationing , also her clothes looks to be be more 1940,s style. I have seen pictures of cars with similar mud flaps before, the stolen B 400 of Bonnie and Clyde has them.
