Just purchased Lincoln 1947 with v12 and was wondering if any of valves were interchangeable with the v8 valve, guides etc thanks

Valves and guides are one of the few things that will interchange. I removed the hydraulic lifters and installed the ford adjustable lifters in mine . That does require having the cam reground for the mechanical lifters.

I ran the solid lifters as well . If you do this be sure to use the ones made for the Lincoln V12. The ford type will block off the oil flow that passes around them and out to other parts of the engine. Tim

So it would be ok to use v8 guides? Valves were froze and after several weeks soaking in penetrating oil freed up enough to remove but in taking out some guides broke.Have some extra v8 parts and was wondering if it would work.thanks

Makes no difference. You plug off the oil galley feeding the lifters anyway.
