1926 Gas Tank

Does a 1926 Model T gas tank have a internal pickup tube and can it me unplugged from the out side of the tank ?

No, the fuel outlet is on the bottom engine side. It is just a casting the filter screws into. There is the overfill drain tube that starts at the top of the tank and exits through the outlet casting. If you are having flow issues, the shut off sediment assembly might be pluged up.

Yes to RMT's reply and there is an available tall VW style filter A-9193 TX that will mount on the inlet of the sediments bulb or (potato) if you will I got one from Langs and flush the low point of my sediment bowl and carb before each drive and no problemo's to date.

That original sediment bowl screen is usually a flow stopper, pull your bowl assemby and after removing the screen clean it up good and install that new gas valve screen
