Luggage Rack Info

I have an excellent original luggage rack that I'll be installing on my 35
convertible sedan. However, I don't have a pair of original knobs that are
used to hold the rack in various positions. Is there anyone out there that
can post a picture or two of what the originals knobs look like?

Thanks,

Peter

Pete,

Those in the first two photos in #2 above are as original. That in the third photo in #2 is not as original.

Thanks for the great up close pics. My next question is does anyone have a set of knobs
I can buy or are they available in repro anywhere? I've looked at several on line sites like
Joe's and Yesteryear Ford but none were listed.

Peter

Vintique might have them since they also mfg the repro racks at one time.

Here is what they look like

As David noted, the knobs are installed on the wrong side, they should be on the outside of the bracket. I took these photo's from a 32 a guy had that I bought some parts off of and took them just as "detail" shots of the knobs and not necessarily for restoration correctness sake. THE Grade 5 Zinc Plated hex head cap screws should ALSO be a give away as to "NOT" correct aspect as well!!!
