HI;

Do the Rear Motor Mounts get wired through the Bolts when the Bolts are tightened down so they don't undo themselves and come lose or come off entirely, as there is enough room to wire the bolts but do they get wired is the thing I don't know as where they wired originally from the factory is the thing I don't know that either.

So if anyone knows if the Rear Motor Mount are wired originally please let me know ASAP and I need the proof of it that they where wired originally.

Thanks: Reggiedog

Thanks;
I just got done putting wire in them as I figured they were wired and if they weren't I would of just cut the wire out of them but they are wired now, and where did you find this information from as I didn't see it in the restorations book at all but. Thanks again Reggiedog

Gary;
Is that out of the standards book or where did u get that from? As Bob on here sent me a thing as to where I could find that they were wired originally and that has already been done as I did it before I even heard from any of you guys I just figured that they were wired so I did it and if they weren't wired I would of just cut the wire out of them and put cotter pins in there instead. Les Andrews Mechanic book.

Gary;
I got that book and I didn't see it in there as I looked in the standards and the red book witch is Les Andrews Book and I didn't see it in either of them I will have to look again at both of those books. Thanks Reggiedog

Cotter pins will do nothing in the heads of bolts. Safety wire the bolts so that the wire is "pulling" toward a clockwise direction. It should appear the wire is in a slight backwards "S" configuration when done.
