Disc brakes for wide-5 drums

I am just a bit confused. Why would you need those adapters on a '36? (I am assuming you mean a Ford.)

Good to hear that the Ford wheels fit them though.

I had pulled the 39 trans and banjo rear out of my 36 ,installed a T5 and a 57 9" rear hence I had put the Speedway Mopar rotor disc brake kit in front (so I would have the late Ford bolt pattern) on my 36 so no longer had the wide 5 bolt pattern.I used those adapters on the 9" rear also.

OK. Makes sense now. Just seemed a little strange on first read.

OK. All set. Ordered Boling Bros. front backing plates, wheel cyls, shoes, etc. I can use my stock wide-5 hubs. Their shoes are 1 3/4". $425. I'm good to go. Many thanks for everyone's input!
