A common sight coming soon

Lawrie, as you are aware, we also get out there in our A. I don't know how many times I've had people express surprise that the A is not black. After all, "You can have any colour you like so long as it is black", they say. I love the puzzled looks when I tell them that was only the Model T - this is Model A and it was only in America and even then, only for a few years. Some people look as though their whole world has collapsed!
It sounds like that engine is going well, as is mine. I sit on 100 kph nearly everywhere I go now.
How many K's did you do?
 
Arnold, Only about 2200.
But all on the bruce byway which is not that good.
I,m off to Detroit in USA in a few weeks for a month.

Ah, The Bruce Highway! My favourite goat track and that's the good bits. Has to be about Australia's worst road and they call it a highway.
I envy you the trip to Detroit. We have been to the US a few times but never to that part. Maybe some day.
 
I,m going to the 60th aniversary of the ford V8 club, held at Dearborn, lots of great things to do there, visit henrys home, auburn museum etc.

Those are among the things we'd like to see too. From what I hear, it would take a couple of days at least to see it all.
