nice car.
I'm thinking the Vintage Air trunk unit https://www.vintageair.com/custom/product-pop.php?pn=63200-VUY-AI thought I could put it under the seat, but no dice.
Sold for $40,500!
I think the trend is downward. The Model A collectors are aging out. Millennials can't/won't drive a stick. The consignments to auctions in the past 15 years have been on the increase.Maybe not sold for too much - but too early
I plotted the prices on Bring a Trailer for stock Model A's and did a linear fit. The general trend is gradually up. They are still mostly affordable compared to other antique cars. Model T's are lower cost except for the early brass ones. Of course the rarity or desirability will effect the selling price. The current inflation situation will raise the prices. Hot rods seem to command a higher price.
New Model A owners are asking questions on the Barn about how to shift the car. So I think there is a market for people who are new to Model A's. After all, how many people are still around that bought a new Model A? None.
