gas tank straps for 53 Merc?

[bigd1101]

Looking for gas tank straps for the 53 Merc Monterey....no luck anywhere. Ebay, Macs, on and on. Is there a set that works on another vehicle that will work on the Merc?

Did you try Concours Parts in Nevada?

Do a search on e-Bay for Mercury gas tank straps. Looks like you will find them there.

Ask questions of the seller on E-bay and give them measurements of your old straps. Also look at other makes such as Chevrolet, etc. You can also try Big M Auto Parts in Williams, California. He has a lot of 50s used parts. Ph# 530-473-2225
