wiring 57 wagon

I thought I would start a separate thread about wiring my 57 wagon up. So here it goes as I will be asking many many questions.....

I am beginning the rewire (Ron Francis) process and since I am starting off with missing original parts, how do you secure the two wires that go from the Regulator (A/B posts?) to the Gen? I know they have to go along the radiator support somehow. I figured the F post out (it goes along the firewall). I am planning to use loom conduit instead of wrapping everything in electrical tape. Or does it come down to make it as clean as possible?

Thanks,

Mike

There is an ELECTRICAL MANUAL also available that may help ease the pain -

Thanks K. Thank you for jogging my memory. Just remember the wife got me a wiring manual-hate getting old.

I have that Manuel that K showed. its great... very helpful.
I also use this..I made massive prints of it at a print shop that does blueprints and architect copies....
I made this one 4x6 and hung it on the wall.. (easier on the eyes)

Jeff will do, let me check out the manual that I have. Part of my problem is that pieces of the original wiring are missing so I don't know where and how it was routed and what hardware was used.

For some reason Mike.. its shows a small attachment

If you need it bigger...... send me a dm

That's my fault. For some reason when I download a photo it will only display small.

Being computer illiterate, I am not able to figure out how to correct it.

I am having trouble uploading WSM photos (too small) now regarding the 57 MERC AT.

im in the process of rewiring my 55 customline. Fortunely my car is complete with all switches and etc. im using all the orginal switches and guages , just takes time redo,in every thing,

If you are willing to pay for authenticity and ease of installation I recommend YnZ Yesterdays harnesses. Correct color codes, correct lengths, and a handy wire diagram.
