I am looking for a solution for my 31 slant windshield fordor. I have a aftermarket frame and wish to put a spair and a hitch for a small trailer. Has anyone done this. Looking for pics too please.
I assume that the frame you talk about is for a trunk on the rear. As you know, the more you move the hitch back the less weight it can carry. A very small trailer should be fine but not a heavy one. I think you will have to have a custom receiver welded up or modify a commercial one.

No matter what size trailer you tow, the hitch needs to be engineered properly and attached to the frame and cross member. If you don't have the skills or equipment, I would recommend having it done professionally.
The heavier the trailer, the more the car needs to be altered for towing also.
The car in the pic has 8 inch rubber, 4 wheel disc brakes, panhards front and rear and tube shocks. The hitch is rated at 3000 lb. The trailer has electric brakes.
It covered 8 states on the vintage race circuit.
Here is the trailer hitch that I built for my SW Town Sedan with a Model A Frame. I have towed a Mullins fiberglass trailer all over the western US without a problem.
