1932 fuel line

Hello.

I’m working on the fuel line of my 1932 Ford V8.
It’s an original and unboxed chassis.
I would like to make it removable from the chassis, so in two pieces.
One piece tubing is better to avoid leak but will be pretty difficult to pass thru the k member.

What’s your idea ?

Thanks

If you stick to the original routing, you would need to have three pieces, not just two. The two joints would be between the front running board bracket and center cross member and behind the rear running board bracket.

The purpose of making it removable would be....?

The body and the firewall aren’t fitted yet and I don’t want the tube woggling in the air.
And when the body is on the chassis, it will be more difficult to put the tube after.

Yes, I’m kinda complicated :p

Harold,

Having installed many a '32 body on its chassis, you will regret not first installing the firewall separate from the body. There are several good reasons why Ford did it that way in the first place.
