1938 Ford blue emblem paint

See picture. I need some blue paint to touch up my trunk handle emblem. Anyone know of a source? Thanks
Terry
Sorry I forgot the picture

The original was a slightly lighter shade of blue than in your picture, sorry, I can't find my example I was going to take a picture of. To show that yours is not original, see how it has chipped and peeled? that shows that the surface was not prepped properly, The original would have worn off, but would not be peeled and chipped.
Hobby stores have Testors paint in small bottles, which is the brand that is used by many. Pick up a couple or three and choose one you like. Prep the surface better than the previous owner did!

152L light blue
TPC Global brand of lettering paint is suppose to be same color but the quality has been questioned compared to one shot.
It is out of stock every where I have checked so far in (4oz)........... back in stock this fall.
Check your local auto paint store(s)
If you find any in your area I’ll split it with you.

hey CWL,iv'e restored the v8 85 grille emblem on my '37 over a year ago and still looks good. i looked at oreillys and another parts store for auto toutch up nothing in correct blue. i went to local salon supply store and chose a blue nail polish. laquer right? you'd be hard pressed to tell if not correct only ford blue on the car except trunk handle. Winner, winner, chicken dinner.

This is about as close to authentic as you are likely to find "on the shelf".
