1938 Ford need ignition parts

My 38 tudor won't start. I think it's the coil. Has a big crack. Going to get into the distributor, spark plugs etc. I'm looking for a reliable source for parts. I'm new at this and rely on your recomdations. Thank you
Terry

Resist buying a “new” coil as they are junk. There is a man who rebuilds them and he may have good cores as yours may not. His name is skip Haney and I’m sure you can find his contact info. Send distributor to third gen parts for a rebuild. Then you will be good for many years.

X2 on Skip. A friend here in FRANCE was having coil issues.Had a buddy in FL find a script core and sent it to Skip. Its been on the car a month and runs perfectly. Its now $100 to have one done plus postage. Had a spare dist done by V8 Ford Sales in SC.Sent them a core to rebuild -2 day turn around. Its on its way back .
