'32-34 brake drums have not been reproduced to the best of my knowledge and they are becoming a challenge to find still within usable inside diameter.
Good used ones are here on the 'Barn'. I can't give them away. Changeovers they are to hyd. Newc
I have a brake drum gauge what is the usable diameter for them?
As in 'No one wants them'. Clean cast iron is now about $150 a ton locally. No responce to my adds. Newc
Being that .060 is generally the max oversize when turning drums and .090 is usually the max wear throw away number; what would be considered a limit for purchase of a worn drum that didn't need turning and would be used on limited use car.
Seems most all '32-'34 & '35 drums I come across are pretty well used and I just hate to just scrap them.
Makes you wonder what spec's they used in the old days since it is not uncommon to find shims behind brake linings.
