Where to buy a hand crank

Excuse this really newbie question but I want to get a hand crank and my car did not come with one . Where’s a good place to buy one for a 31, or are all model a engine cranks the same?
Thank you!!

There is a wanted section on this site, you can find it. The suppliers such as Snyder's list one around $20.

Welcome, Post a photo of your car!

Welcome to the Barn. Until you have posted a while you can post photos on another site and then type in a link to that site.

The crank doubles as a lug wrench for the wheels.

The original crank has forged ears to go into crankshaft ratchet, when I first got my car and didn't have a crank I bought a reproduction and it just had a pin through a drilled hole, came apart after 2 uses, look for original one.

Agree, price is up a bit, believe we were paying 20 to 25 for them at Long Beach Swap.

The '31 crank handle is different from the previous years but any will do. Sammy Guthrie at Arizona Model A will have one, I'm sure.
BTW, It helps us if you put your location on your profile.

Read the judging standards to see what is correct for your car. Through Jun 28 the lug nuts were smaller. You should buy the correct one as it will probably be the same price. Swap meets or your local car club are good sources.

The lug nuts were 11/16 through June '28 and the 13/16 through the end of production. The judging standards were published jointly by the two National Clubs (Model A Restorers Club [MARC] and The Model A Ford Club of America [MAFCA, mafca.com]). The standards should be available on their web sites. Major vendors also sell them.
