Model a restoration pics...great build

That really is something, can not think what it would have cost from the drawing stage to driving.

Thanks. That's been around for years, and there's a Youtube video of it running - worth it for the sound alone!

I'll bet each one of those wheels cost more than my entire car. And check out the cars in the background . . .

Anyhow, congrats to them for using a front wishbone and the a stock front axle.

Thoes wheels are something else. Seems like the same technique could be applied to take on the wider 19" tires that you see on some of the late model rigs.

That was done by someone who wasn't concerned about the cost ! That is, probably, the most expensive Model "A" in the world !
It sure is a nice job though !

Wow! Some one has a brain and was not afraid to use it.

Good thing they did not post it here as it was being built.

Interesting result, but definitely not "restoration", as nothing was put back as original. "Renovation" may be a more apropos term, like renovating an old building with modern stuff. It is what I call a "notrod". Not restored, not a traditional hotrod in any sense, and definitely not remotely connected with preservation. Of course, I would like to take it for a spin- just once.

I'd like to see the result from that shop if an equally bottomless pocket customer gave them a copy of the JS and said "This is what I want.". That task may not be as easy.

what kind of engine is that? that a turbo on top? how much hp would that Model A crank out>?
I believe it's a Ford Cosworth out of a Cosworth Sierra. No turbo, I think they just made a big intake plenum.

The builder went to extreme measures to replicate the visual of the Model A Tudor where ever he could, including right down using the proper upholstery fabric, but still at the same time, completing his mission of having a hot performing car. Seeing what he started with, I have to congratulate him on a job well done with what he had to work with. It helps to have lots of surplus cash to use.:)
