My 1936 coupe is set on a 1937 chassis with 1937 transmission and differential. When I purchased the rolling chassis I was told that it might have been under a pick up truck. The gearing seems rather low. Would a truck differential have had a lower gear ratio than a car? On re-build the trans seemed "normal". Thanks for any insight.
