Hey Bob sorry for the delay does it look like this one?
I hate to be a pain but just want to make sure it is the correct one. The one I have has a softer gear on top of the gear to the right. This is the one that the bottom of the shaft hits and uses to operate the arms.

Hello that is the same regulator that i have, I had two 1939 owners verify that it is indeed for a 1939 ford, My two gears are made of steel and a magnet will stick to them, It has a small repair to one of the gears, otherwise it operates smooth, I will take $50.00 plus $5.00 shipping thanks Robert Beenenga 625 n 2101 rd Tonica Illinois 61370
