RHD, this room is not an english class or a spelling bee, it a bunch of guys enjoying each others company and helping getting these old cars running again. most here were brought up in hard times and schooling was secondary to making ends meet and making sure their familys had food clothing and and a place to sleep, they had to forgo school to work 14 to 16 hrs a day in the fields or where ever to do that, your comments are not welcome on that subject, go play with your snotty friends, they being professors, hippys, houty toutys, artsy fartsy or what ever, but leave these honest and hard working guys alone

Because, you know, professors, hippys, houty toutys, artsy fartsy or what ever folks aren't honest or hard working?

Southern building contractor handed me a material list for the job he was doing. There in his writing was: Winders. In same town at Walmart I asked for arrows for my son's bow and was told they didn't know what they were. After explaining with my hands I was shown the "Errors" and sure "nuf" they had them. This conversation has caused me to down load spell check. I wonder which it will choose, A400 or 400A :+)

is this a spelling bee? or a madel A site? we know what we are saying. both my parents and 2 sister`s are teachers they dont act this way...

Who gives a rats arse if some like me can,t spell, At least most of us know what we mean & yes some of us drive on the wrong side, some put the steering wheel on the right side & some don,t , Its about Model A,s not a dam spelling test. At $1.22 per litre for fuel there are more inportant things to do than run spelling test.

They're coming to getcha...

Since the colour of the sky is grey today I have spent the morning checking the car; the tyres are still ok depsite having driven up the kerb and onto the pavement ( fortunately didn't damage the wing), the silencer is working well and I rediscovered a lost spanner so didn't have to resort to Molegrips.
So who not only spells funny but also talks funny, you lot? (PS Also, rubbers are available if we need to rub out spelling mistakes anyway!) :)

Jeezuz, a bloody Kiwi, talkin bout spellin.

Do you know why Kiwis push sheep to a cliff?

Because they push back......

Think about it....

If ya look in the upper right corner of the REPLY box you will see ABC over a check mark. That is the spell checker. Use it. :D

RHD— People in this country used to take pride in being educated. But something terrible has lately happened in the United States. It is now a point of pride with some to be ignorant. This has nothing to do with one's ability with or knowledge of the Model A, however. As someone pointed out, this isn't a spelling bee. But it would help communication if people put forth some effort, even to simply use the spell check. This site underlines questionable words; it's really not that hard to get it right.

700rpm,
If you have to use "spell check" then you can't spell any better then the rest of us, or you woulden't have to use "spell check" now would you?
I have yet been ask..Louis would you mind respelling that word? I can't understand what your trying to say.
Please go read a nice book while we work on our "A" model's.
"I DON'T NEED NO STINKING SPELL CHECK" ;).

most of us on here know exactly what is being said, its only the college educaded ones who have trouble in here, so go play with your slide rule and let the rest of us get on with building our antique cars

By the way, You need to work on your grammar.

ford1, It's not the college educated that are the problem here, it's only the same old rude few that hang around on all forums looking for some attention.
