Good Evening Folks,

Just acquired my '35 at an auction last week and want to put the top down without damaging anything. I found a reprint instruction manual on Faxon but wondering if anyone here can give me guidance.

Thanks

Tom

Congrats on the CS I have a 36 CS. As Terry said follow the factory instructions. Let’s see some pics of you awesome new convertible. Enjoy. Cheers. Tony

Hi Tom. Congratulations. I’m restoring a 35 convertible sedan too. Be great to see some photos and welcome to Fordbarn. Dan.

Dont forget to get three guys to help the first time. Two to help and one to tell you how wrong you are doing it.

This is exactly right! Slow and sure, no pinched fingers, no torn canvas. At minimum, it's a two man job even when you know how to do it.

As others have said...Don't rush into lowering your top until you have studied the pamphlet forward and back. Here's what the cover of the pamphlet should look like.
