TINTOPTEXAN . . . . . . . . . That was an absolutely great video ! I had never seen that before. Thank you for posting it ! Just think, about all of those people are gone now. MIKE
forever4 . . . . . . . . . . . . I believe that you are right again ! On the back of each card are several sentences, all ending with, "FORD-TAUNUS - 1,2 Ltr. -, ein Er-zeugnis der Ford - Werke aus Kolm am Rhein.". Did you notice the suicide doors ? MIKE
The fist picture shows a Ford Taunus in front of the Cologne trade fair building with the "Hohenzollern" train bridge over river Rhine and the cathedral in the background.
The second picture also shows the "Dom" - our cathedral, the other buildings in the street probably haven't survived the bombings during WW II.
Picture three was taken in the old town in front of "Gross St. Martin"
The last picture shows the old town house (check how it looks today):
forever4 . . . . . . . . . . . . I have a collection of German WWII motorcycle photographs. In one, I am wondering if that is a FORD COE truck in the background. The grille emblem looks similar to the USA 1938 emblem. Let me know. MIKE
