Not a 37 "expert" but have had our 37 Station Wagon since I was 3 years old (ie since 1966) and "never" seen any kind of oil pan protector like that OR have been told we were missing such an Item!!! I would say "custom made".
I am the second owner of a very low mileage '37 cabriolet which was missing nothing when I bought it 30 some years ago. No such pan is listed in either the Canadian or U.S. chassis parts catalogs nor is it mentioned in the V8 Club's very thorough book on '37s.
Absolutely!!! Was going to say, it looks like a "must have" IF you had a Marmon Harrington Pick-up, Station Wagon OR Panel of some variety!!!I couldn't disagree with either of you guys, but ya gotta admit that ANY factory would be proud of the detail and engineering seen in the manufacture of this piece!
