1941 Ford -Splash Apron/Fender Seal source

Spent the day removing the inner fenders/splash aprons from the front fenders on my 41 Woodie. There is the residue of some sort of seal or welting between the two but all that's left is what appears to be badly deteriorated rubber. I've checked Drake/Carpenter/Mac's/Joblot etc but can't find a source for this item. Any suggestions for a vendor that might have this item.
 
When I bought the fender welting kit from Drake, what you want was in the kit. It's purpose is anti rattle, so you could use a couple of layers of duck tape, I think.
