Hello Gentlemen,

I have a set of Model T wheels, but not in my possesion and I am selling them, buyer want them shipped, can any of you tell me the size and approximate weight for (1) and I can double it and then get him a shipping price. Your help is appreciated.

Wood or wire? With or with out tires? If wood, with or without dis-mountable rims? If wood, what size?

Greyhound Express is the cheapest way to ship, but you and the buyer need a depot close by.

Bob, I used to think so too but recently I needed five 19" wheels & tires shipped from Mississippi to my shop, and Greyhound quote was $48 (and change) per each, --and FedEx was just under $30.00. FedEx is also shipping tires for me for about $18 each. I don't know if Greyhound's prices used to be cheaper because they wanted more freight to carry, --or whether FedEx's prices have dropped to be more competitive.

Thanks Brent! When you ship tires are they boxed, wrapped or just sent with a well taped address lable? I have 3 that have to go out wonder if a package of 3 is cheaper that shipping singles?

He is looking for weight and size not the lowest cost to ship. Without the information I asked for, would be kinda hard to supply answer to his question.

This information is impossable to give without knowing are the wheels 21" wire, with or without hubs, 30 X 3 1/2, 30 X 3, 21" wood spoke, demountable, non-demountable, with rims, without rims & any of the above with or without tires.

That is correct! That is what I asked for in my first reply. He must have gone camping for the long weekend.

Ok ONE rusty 1926-27 Model T Ford FACTORY WIRE WHEEL ...NO Hub, NO tire, NO rim flap,NO Hub Cap, INSIDE a cardboard box with an address lable printed out IN INK hits my bathroom scale at 19 pounds.
