Hope someone can help me out. Can anyone identify this overdrive? I checked with Mitchell and it isn't one of theirs.

It’s definitely a Borg Warner made R-10 overdrive unit......modified to fit into an early Ford closed driveline. There was a man in the Columbus, Ohio area who made these for model A’s and early V8’s for years. I’m fairly certain that he passed away recently. Of course, there could be others who did similar modifications to the BW overdrive and resold them too. This one appears to have a plug where the governor went.

That unit was built by Lloyd Young of Winchester, Ohio. He was known as "Mr. Overdrive". Unfortunately, he passed away in 2017 at 87 years old. His o/d conversion was one of the best that I've seen.
