47 front brakes

Picked the drums back up, they're not perfect each has a small grove still much better than what they were, but they look pretty thin maybe good enough to get through the summer. I took the brake pads into a local shop that relines pads, they are putting a thicker pad on. I reckon I will start thinking about buying new drums, I haven't even looked at the back yet, I'm afraid too, lol.

The shop that turned them should have measured their diameter. If they are over 12.060 they are junk and you shouldn't use them.

They measured them for the pads, they for sure won't take another turn, I would just like them to get me to fall and replace all four then.

Another hint: when replacing hub wheel mounting studs, secure the heads in place with a tack weld. The knurled replacements can, and do, come loose, making removal of the wheel and tire nearly impossible, particularly on the side of the road somewhere.

Decided to just bite the bullet and order the drums from Mac's, I only see one set on their site that the hub mounts to the outside, the measurements seem the same but the ones on the car are fluted the new ones offered are solid. The outfit that are replacing my pads say they are not new to transferring hub to drum, the old ones are just to far gone.
