F1 sea meadow green

Has anyone had any luck coming up with a color match or paint code for Ford 14555 Sea Meadow Green, there isn’t much of my color not faded.

Don't know what year you are talking about but it may be possible to make a color match of any interior component that is painted body color such as the inside of the glove box cover.

Is it this green?
If needed, I can ask my brother what color green it is called.
Truck is 1954.

There are many shades of green/blue depicted in the pictures as presented.
From the original camera taking the pictures to the transfer of images, any true color falls by the wayside and any reliance on posted pictures to accurately depict a color is pure folly.

Hmm...........Certainly not folly, you can get into the ball park at any rate. Then a photo
match from the backside of the glove box door & from behind the seat down low. That's
how I matched the Bambalina (sp) blue on my '51.

You don,t have to take a photo of the back of the glove box.
I have in the past taken the whole glove box to the paint store where it was scanned and a color formula was created.
As I understand it, some auto paint stores have portable scanners to scan paint samples at the sample location.

M-14555 Sea Island Green for F-1's was a '51-only color (at least by that name), color code "G". This is a Car color chart, but it lists it for '52.

They had a meadowbrook green too. It sounds like a mix in different color names. I have trouble visualizing a meadow in a sea. I also have trouble remembering all those crazy names.

There is no such thing as truly matching a color from a sample. The scanner can only give a close match to a current formula that is stored in its memory, which is why color matching is so hard esp faded paint. It takes an experienced person to add or subtract pigment to color match.

My brother told me that Ford used to have some left over paint from previous model year and would use it on the next years model so as not to waste paint. The above green pick up is allegedly Meadow Green. All they did was change the name of the paint. It was really the same color as the previous model year. He also said this: the Ford colors for 1954 trucks were were: Black,Sheridan Blue,Glacier Blue,Sea Haze Green,Vermillion, meadow Green,Goldenrod Yellow, and Special order for 1954.
