Howdy,
Got my '30 A closed-cab running and driving and DMV friendly and now I need a pair of '30 Commercials to set it off right. Any condition considered but must be a pair and DMV-clear. Any leads would be greatly appreciated also. I have contacted the Nor-Cal plate guys and none have any right now.

Appreciate any and all help!

Jim,
I have a line on some '30 CA plates(pairs). What nomenclature/numbers make them commercial? I could probably Google the answer, but it's late(and I'm lazy).

Best avatar on the site BTW.

Sorry Carl, been away.
'30 CA COM plates have a small "P C" to the far left side of the plate, and then a set of digits like a normal plate. PM me if your plates are for sale though, and we'll chat.

Thanks for looking,
Jim

This is an old post and I am looking for a set of plates for my 30 model A. I hope your brother still has them.

Jim,
I'm glad this thread resurfaced. Serves as a good reminder. Let me try again to land those '30 commercial plates for you. Bruce

Here is some information on California Commercial License Plates. There are two versions that I know of.
1. P C This is for Pnuematic Commercial for vehicles with air in the tires
2. S C This is for Solid Commercial for vehicles with solid tires.
I hope this helps you get the correct plates for your truck.
