Power generator and alternators for 32-49 v8

Hi All,
I am converting my 38 coupe to 12 volt, so I will require a replacement Generator
and wish to retain the cooling fan and pully.
I did see that some 1932- 48 early V8 power generators-alternators, that were listed at MACs auto parts ,around page 106-07; have all been dis-continued ?
that's according to an on line enquiry by us , just yesterday.
So, where else can I get such an item from ? any ideas, thanks

Why don't you just get a converted 6 volt GMC alternator
and 2/0 battery cables it's a lot simpler? G.M.

If you want to keep the generator look and don't mind spending the money, I would go with the Whitney unit. They use the end plates of your generator and install an alternator inside.
