trying to identify this early master cylinder

Years ago I purchased a Model A which had been converted to hydraulic brakes. Its time to replace or fix the master cylinder due to leaks and pressure build-up. I would like to install a dual cylinder master, or at least get a replacement, however, the fit up is quite different from what is offered by Speedway Motors or other suppliers. The current master cylinder is equipped with a 3/4 inch diameter hole at the front end where it is used to mount it on the clutch/brake shaft fitted to the bell/transmission housing. total length is close to 9 inches long, single outlet at the rear.
Would anyone here know the manufacturer number for replacement or year of it. ?

Where can I get a replacement to fit on my pedal shaft ?

Without some pictures of what you have it's virtually impossible to visualize what you have, ( at least for me )

Shoebox Ford? I think they had a shaft going through the master cylinder, but it seems to me the hole was bigger than 3/4". A picture would help.

Hi all; That looks like a GM mid 30's to 50's MC. For a nice Dual you can use a '62-3 Cadillac drum/drum dual that uses the large Ford tubing outlets. Outlets are on the side. Newc

Tom, as Merc states, more info is needed. You just can't replace a stock master with a dual mc. If you aren't replacing an existing dual mc you need to repipe the system and there are other components, proportioning valve, residual valve, etc to consider.
