What is the part number or size number for a vacuum wiper motor for a 1940 two-door sedan?

My 1938 -41 Ford Chassis Parts Book shows the number to be 01A-17508-A. It cost $6.75 in 1940.

I was referring to all these numbers like: SSM-32-1,SSM-27,SS27 and on and on.What do they mean and which one off these fit my 40 two-door sedan?

Those appear to be Trico numbers.

Hi 40; I also have a 40 tudor. I have a couple of NOS 40 wipers and the number on the box is SSM27 and a number 51 on the on off arm.

Kube is correct. The TRICO Wiper Spec Sheet I have says that SSM-27 is the TRICO number for the 1940 Ford closed car wiper motor. SSM-32-1 is shown to be a service number for that motor. To get the best , correct answer call Ficken Wiper Service. They rebuilt my 1940 wiper motor many years ago and are the noted experts in the field.
