on my 56 the door on the drivers side it pretty beat up. Look like someone back into it a one time. Anyway does any one make door skins for these? Finding a good solid door seems to be impossible.

A little ways down on this "Late V8" page there's a thread titled Repo sheet metal
that you started. Does EMS not have what you need?
or are you looking for more options?

From what I can see they only have the door bottoms. I really need thee whole door as it is really messed up. The inside and bottom appears to be good but the outside is trash.

I doubt that you will find a repair panel. FORD even deleted them (PN) from the 49/59 MPC FINAL ISSUE (1964)

That skin can be worked (shrunk) by a skilled metal worker, which will be hard to find in today's world. I have seen in some instances where the skin was removed, worked and put back on the door frame.

Most techs now are body repair in a can with a 2 X 4 as a spreader... :(

Call them directly and ask instead of assuming. Website catalog listings are almost always incomplete and out of date. Their parts person can be more helpful than that.
If nothing else they may know of other options or suppliers.

That really doesn't look that bad. Have fixed way worse over the years. If a bottom door repair panel doesn't reach up high enough, and/or the upper corner proves unrepairable, a larger sheet of proper gauge steel can be made into a door skin from the handle hole down. Luckily, the doors are flat with a slight bow. As an aside, didn't Ford in its cost effective wisdom use doors from 2 dr sedans on the sedan delivery?

Yes-
1955/56
Ford introduced the Lifeguard Safety Features in '56.

If you look for a whole used door double check that the latch mechanism and shape of the door around the latch matches what you have.

I'm gonna guess somewhere down there in Arkansas is a good boneyard nestled in the hills with a couple of '56 2 dr sedans with good doors. ( here's hoping anyway )

As an aside.. Don't overlook the 55/56 Mercury for the doors. The only difference is the molding mounting holes and the door handle. Which can be filled and reshaped. I found 2 totally rust free 55 Merc doors for my Ford out of Ft Collins Colorado. They had a crease in them like someone tried driving it through a to narrow space. Easily fixed.
At any rate if nothing else you could use them as a patch panel for yours.
