Can anybody help me with a picture or two of the correct bumper jack for a full size 1960 Ford , like the Galaxie or Fairlane 500 model. Include the right bumper "hook" too . Thanks for your help.

In 1960 the Fairlane model was still the full size Ford , that was before they introduced the mid-size Fairlane model in 1962. They had both the GALAXIE and the FAIRLANE as full size cars in 1960.
A picture of the jack in the trunk is what I am looking for, thanks to anybody that can post that !

Will a PARTS ILL do?

You just want to see how it is tied down?

-1960 FORD OWNERS MANUAL-

Here is an ILL. It shows 61/64 and the 1960 ILL must have been deleted (1960-1964 FORD MPC).

As I remember... ... the hold down should be the same as the 61/62 as they were basically the same car. The 63/64 had some minor mechanical changes.

There were Fairlane, Thunderbird, and Galaxie models but Ford just picked one full size model illustration in that year range & used that. I guess we might be lucky that there is a jack illustration at all considering they never put illustrations for them in any of the 40s or early 50s parts books. They sometimes had good photos in the owners manuals though.

KULTULZ....thanksfor the feedback and pictures. The car we are trying to get right is a 60 STARLINER. Your picture of the red one with the jack stowed under the spare tire looks right I think. Now does anybody have a picture of the correct hook part of the jack? The one we have is a little too long and doesn't stay below the upper curve of the bumper. These 60 Fords had a pretty straight flat faced bumper with a bulge along the upper margin. I think in 61/62 they had more of a contour and the hook was a similiar shape.
Anybody have a known correct 1960 hook???
Thanks again!
Steve

Just FYI-

The MPC shows the 1960 FORD jack assy being replaced (or original PN) by the 1960 FALCON assy. The bumper contours must have been very similar.

I had a sixty and the hook was unique.
