SOLD! This is the sheetmetal trim strip that goes across the header bow on 1933-34 Ford roadsters and phaetons. Might fit '32 as well? It has been chrome plated and looks pretty nice. These are rare and not reproduced that I know of and are missing on many restored cars. It has a weld on it, maybe a prior repair, maybe someone made one out of two, don't know. The weld is visible in the pictures and you can kind of tell it on the chrome side, but overall pretty good. You don't see this piece that much so might be ok as-is, or maybe you want to re-do it or use it as a pattern. I bought it as-is a few years ago but never used it. Thanks.

That part WAS reproduced at one time. I have one. I, probably, bought it thirty years ago. I don't remember where. I also have the original, on my phaeton, which is rusty.
Where the break is, is where the little half moon piece went for the windshield wiper.

Mike, Good info. I'm pretty sure this is an original from the pitting and prior repair.

I believe it was sold by Alan Darr Early Ford Parts back in the 70/s or 80's. Uf I remember cprrectly , he offered several 32-36 parts that I haven't seen available in many years.
