Weaver auto crane swivel hook (****** block)

Anyone on here have a Weaver auto crane swivel hook (****** block) on there wrecker ?? looking to work with someone to get measurements off one to make my own , appreciate the help .... restoring my weaver cranes , email me at Rillecustoms@shaw.ca Thanks Steve

During my days driving tow trucks that was called a "****** Block".

The term "****** block" is a maritime thing ,used a lot at sea and in the offshore oilfield . Top quality were USA "Mckissick" and "Crosby" for shackles also "Baldt" for chain .

FYI - The hook is part S-838. Your picture show part AS-344 - ****** Block Complete with 341 - Sheave Wheel. This is for Weavers with chain (not cable).

So, which part are you talking about?

Hi .. yes I am fully aware of all the part the numbers , thanks..... And as just like in the pic I provided is What I am looking for.... is a complete ****** block assembly with 5" sheave for chain........ Weaver listed part # AS-344 .... Like I mentioned before if someone has one on there crane to work with to take measurements from would be a great help to make my own... Thanks
