Marval Schebler Carberator Parts

I have just come across a Marval Schebler Carberator that has been sitting in an open car for many? years. My question is where does one get parts if needed?
Everything on Carberator seems O'K but I am concerned about the jets and one of the rusted Butterfly's. Don't want to waste time cleaning and testing if I can't get parts.
Any suggestions or help is appreciated.

If that carb is the same as mine, I’ve found out that it’s easier to refer to it as an Allstate 2405. Marvel Schebler made a lot of carbs and that model #2405 at least allows you to pinpoint whitch carb you need parts for.

Good luck,
Mike

The good thing about these carbs, is that there is one jet, besides the idle jet. The main issue is the inlet valve which can be purchased through Steiner tractor parts if it is the large size jet (I have one that is too small so shelved it). As long as the float is good, clean it up and regasket it and go.

Look for past posts on this carburetor. There are extensive photos provided by another member regarding the rebuilding of this unit.

The Renners float valve (inlet valve per post 5 ) doesn't always seal properly. Try Michigan Tractor parts for that. It comes with a brass fitting and viton tipped needle for modern gas. Also, the carb bowl mating surfaces are similar to Tillitson's and can warp. They are not to difficult to file or sand at the philister screw holes.
