This transmission had Ford gears in it. The long legged gears started in 1940 or 41. The 38 - 39 transmission is unique for its right side floor shifter which provided more room for the driver in tight cars.

Sounds like he is asking about $900 for the case and shifter cover with no handle? Seems like a little much or are they worth that much??? Never found the normal shifter much a clearance problem in cars I had.
