'29 Std Coupe "Corner Rail" and Pkg Tray Support wood?

Hi. A friend-who-grew-up-with-and-knows-everything-about-Model-As is helping my restore/make/buy the wood for my '29 Std Coupe. I saved everything when I tore it down, and he's got everything identified, except 3 pieces.
Cubel's Fordwood site lists a 1146 and 1147 L and R "Corner Rail". But these are not shown in the diagram on the site. Does anyone know what these pieces are? A picture or a diagram would be really helpful!

Also, 1157 Package Tray Support, which I don't seem to have from my teardown and also no pic of what it is.

Would hate to buy something I already have, that Fordwood maybe has a different name for, etc. Any help is appreciated.

I have a 28 special coupe I installed a top and body wood kit. It was from Classic Wood in NC. A special coupe is similar to a std coupe except for a rear top wood. If I were you, I would call Cubel's and ask them where the 3 wood pieces go and why they aren't shown in the picture.

I wonder if the "corner rail" would be the curved metal channel like my Tudor has?

I posted pictures of my channels several years ago, and a search for " Tudor metal channel" or something like that might turn up the pictures.

Wow! Coupe wood is just does not garner the kind of attention most topics get, I guess! :) Two replies in two days...!
Tom I did do a search for your post but no luck. Plus my friend has a Tudor and rebuilt it from ground up so he'd probably recognize something that was very similar. Thanks though.

I have called Cubel's but their message says something like "we don't hardly listen to voicemails so it would be better to email". So I emailed the question. No answer yet.
We are becoming convinced that the curved pieces we do have, that go in the upper L and R rear corners are these Corner Rails.

If I remember correctly, the curved metal channels have a rivet at each end to attach it to the cardboard for the upholstery. This will help the upholstery panel keep it's curved shape.

Too bad Marco no longer posts, as he is one of the upholstery experts.

The package tray bolts to the body below rear window panel and screws into the wood below the quarter windows. Are these the curved pieces ? The package tray support bolts to the front of tray and go's all the way across maybe helps support the seat back ?

Marty,
The package tray is fastened to the inside of the beltrail wood with 2 wood screws on each side. The 1 5/8" square wood is fastened to the front of the package tray with 4 carriage bolts. If you are tall, like me, the Ford service bulletins describe how to move the seat back back the width of the package tray wood. I attached the Service Bulletin page. The rear flange of the metal package tray rests on the beltrail.

Thanks Rusty! I understand the wood now, and will likely use this legroom trick once the car is back together.
Love this forum!
