Hello Ford Barn

I want it more for around town rides to diner ,home depot ect.
Then there is a 120 mile ride I take with my bike round trip up
along the Delaware River to French Town to grass field air port
(gliders & bi planes ) and through 2 covered bridges and streams.
I do this on bike at least 6 times a year now one time a year wil
be with Model A..I love taking pictures and can not wait for spring.
Today 1-27-11 in Nj just had 14" of snow .Luv to look at it but moving
it is another thing..LOL
Will send pictures of ride this spring with model A to share..
Thank You for all the response and support from all.
My truck will be left more stock and I need to learn to slow down
and this "A" will support that .
I will probably look into better lighting .
And will look into a Club as mentioned .Thank you Joe

Whoa!!! Run like heck........BEWARE of anyone calling himself "shiftyal" :D

It looks nice and should serve you well. Be sure to lube all the moving parts with grease or oil, such as brake pins, clutch and brake pedals, distributor, throttle linkage, etc.

I did notice the left rear brake rod return springs are mounted on the wrong side of the bracket. It'll only take a minute to remove the nut and lock washer to change it to the rear side. Fronts mount on the front side of the bracket, and rears mount on the rear side of the bracket. Also the left rear brake rod return spring needs to be bent so it actually helps to return the brake rod, and so the rod upset will set in the spring pocket.

Was this purchase sight unseen, or did you have someone in Texas check it out for you?

I went sight unseen ..By pictures you see here..
I am little nervous now that you ask.
Trying to trust e bay some here.

I wonder why the seller calls it a 29 when the gas tank, choke rod, parking brake handle, and many other parts are clearly 1928. The generator is correct for March 1930 to the end, but of course any Model A generator will work fine for any year.

What do you feel about price for it and work that has been done.
I was looking at others here in NJ for 14 to 15K and yikes they
did not have the quality this truck shows..
Is the interior a little overdone to the year of truck?

It looks like a decent restore was done on that truck. Very clean.

Parts do get interchanged on old vehicles for one reason or another.

The wood had been replaced (looks great to me) and in my opinion that's not an easy thing to do and probably not something a fly by nighter' would ever do. I think a fair amount of repo parts were used to make it a complete truck.

One thing I saw was the banjo plugs don't seem to be in very far. New repo plugs don't seems to be threaded correctly for the a banjos. That was my experience anyway.

Don't worry, I bet you'll be very happy. Are you going for a points vehicle or a fun driver?
