I have been watching all the videos available and reading as much as I can about doing this on my AA truck (once back from vacation) and I think I am missing something. I understand the concept of making a reference line on the front of the tires, taking that measurement and then comparing it to the back. In my mind, without having a center reference mark, how do you know which tire is the one that has to be adjusted and by how much. Isn't it possible that one side could have the correct amount of toe in and the other side be completely off or both tires could be off by two different amounts?
Thanks for any help.
