I've seen some NIFTY ones, made from just the right size connecting rods. They attract a LOT of ATTENTION for us INSECURE FOLKS---LOL
We're ALL insecure, some just don't ADMIT it & we're ALL just CHILDREN, in OLD Skins---LOL

Go to the web site of the Santa Anita A's of Arcadia California. On the home page under 'Tech Articles" - Tom Endy, there is a series of technical articles. Scroll to the one that addresses this subject. There are photos and a complete description on how fabricate and install the adapter bracket. The later needed parts can be obtained from Bratton's. The article is in a PDF file and you are welcome to down load it and print it out and save it.

One moment. The 60A and 60B, and most likely 60C have a wood cross beam under the dash panel, not a sheet metal cross piece. I'll be trying to fab a support for my sedan and I am just pointing out that these bodies are different and not a bolt on situation. Actually, the very early sedan even has a different wood cross-member and dash cover panel than the later 28 and 29 cars.

That's exactly the problem. That wood support is in the way and makes installing the later style support a big job.
