well i got good news i just bought one today....a few weeksago i had to go look at a car for a customer and my boss told me to ask the guy about the delivery he had and there was a 40 s/d in a place i drive by everyday to and from work...so i made an offer on it and the guy accepted today so im pretty happy right now....pictures to follow when i get it....it was sitting in a junk yard for a while so its kinda rough but its been inside for at least 15 years

was that the one in the latest hemmings for sale?

There were two green Deliveries for sale in Hemmings. Both appeared to be the exact same color. This one was first on the list. It's from California. I bought it for considerably less than the asking price. Had less than a mile on it after the restoration. If you compare my pictures to the ones in the Hemmings ad, you will see that the colors are quite different. My pictures are closer to being correct.

The restoration was done in St Louis. I don't have too many details on that. But they did a terrific job. The only thing that I can take credit for was having the good taste to buy it. Can't wait for warmer weather so that I can get it out.

I'm only too glad to help. There's not too much on Deliveries that you will find on the net. Before I took delivery of the car, I wanted to know how long it was just to make sure that it would fit where I wanted to store it. Couldn't get a good answer on something as simple as that.

Tail lights must be difficult to come by. There are photo copies of cars with the tail lights circled that came with my paperwork. I also talked another guy. Who restored one who said that he had to get pictures and make his own.

Glad to hear that you were able to buy one. It will be a fun project I'm sure.
