Hello Mike, I don't have any dimensions ,but I just did a Model T bed that I have as a trailer for my model A. I also have a 40 ford pickup that I put wood in the bed as a replacement for the original steel that was all rusted out. In both I used white oak as it is very strong and supposed to be more rot resistant than red oak. I used 1x6 material cut to the length of the bed and then ripped them down so they would all be the same width. Good luck, Frank
To further clarify the type of White Oak.. Quarter Sawn will have little longitudinal grain pattern, whereby the Rift Sawn will have some longitudinal grain and probably look better. Your choice. Satin polyurethane, several coats with the last one diluted 50% and wiped on. Exterior grade with no stain.Quarter sawn or Rift cut WHITE Oak. Quarter sawn has the most consistent grain pattern with mostly straight grain. Do not use Red Oak. Will not last long.
Let's give Mack Hils credit on this.
