It is a '32 5 window coupe that has been modified into a roadster and hidden hinges of some sort have been installed. The front frame horns do look to be '32, but the front axle and spring are from a later Ford, '35-'48. The spring mounts in front of the axle on the later cars and that is why the front fender/wheel position looks odd. If an early, spring mounted over the axle, front suspension were used it would lengthen the wheelbase and put the wheel in the proper position. If the price is right I say go for it, but it will be tough to find/replace that top sheet metal should you desire to go that route.

I agree 100%,... You can see the big bolts in the quarters for the door hinges,.. most of the lower body line is gone,.. This is a up hill climb for somebody that has never done this level of body reconstruction.

What does he want in trade ?,....... and what do you feel the value of it is worth ? For a first Hot Rod project, this might be a pretty darn big bite to chew.

Someone ruined a nice 32. But I guess they were plentiful back then.
Sad that the sheet metal body lines that make a nice looking 32 are now gone.

Thanks guys , I knew something wasnt right but i coulnt put my finger on it . He wanted to trade for a 63 chevy i have . Thanks again for all your input.
