I came across these pliers with Ford marks.
Has anyone seen these before.
There is also another inscription Bloemberg I think.

YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MANY PLIERS! I lost count in Greggs' (RIP) plier drawer.
Read a line once: "A WAR WAS LOST, FOR THE LACK OF A PAIR OF PLIERS"!
Does "PAIR" mean ONE or TWO????
Bill Confused???

Never seen them but they are cool! Who knows, maybe a tool from the maintenance department in a Ford facility. Didn't want them walking off, you know.....

Most likely those pliers are from the great many Ford script tools that were available for the Ford Model T. Also, a great many Ford Script tools were made for the later V-8 Fords. Once you step out of the well-known Model A tools, the Ford Script (or otherwise) tools are most likely going to be either a Model T or the later V-8.

Very nice, probably Model T. If you place it in a mix of vinegar and water, they will look new in a few days. Thanks for sharing!

Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner! :D

I have a variety of production tool crib tools from Model A and V8 era similarly marked. They were just Ford property.

I should't post the pictures, who knows if the Ford Factory CEO is watching....

Presumably the lettering shown on the handle is the manufacturer. I've seen a number of general mechanic's tools with Ford stamping (STAMPING! Note that script was FORGED on Ford toolkit tools!), including an ancient Plomb socket I actually bought. I too believe that these are simply property stampings from Ford plants or branches to help keep tools from wandering. I'd delete that post immediately, as Harrn Bennett's grandson might suddenly appear at your door looking for the tool and your hide. Oops! And mine!
